The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation NDRO has condemned the recent blast that occured at the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The group also said it will resist any attempt to distabilise the peace in the state.
The group made this known in a press statement made available to newsmen in the early hours of Monday while reacting to the news of the blast which affected the main chambers of the Assembly Complex.
The statement which was signed by the National Coordinator of the group Amb. Nwokoma Messiah called for caution. The group also called on Rivers elders to weigh in into the confusion and call everybody to apply restraint.
The group described Rivers state as too strategic to the stability of the country to witness any political crisis at this point in time stressing that whatever action or actions of political players should not lead or spiral into an uncontrollable situation.
The group said politics is a collective game and key players who worked for the emergence of the governor should be involved in whatever benefits that should necessary come as a result of the hardwork they put prior to the election of the governor
